How to Price Your Jemi Interactions

We get a lot of requests from creators asking how to price their interactions. What is the value of a 30-minute one-on-one chat? How should I price a personalized video for a supporter? This blog post will provide you with some essential tips to better price your interactions!

Test your pricing

The simple yet difficult answer is that there is no perfect set price for an interaction. Each creator uses Jemi in different ways and has different supporter demands. One thing we recommend all our creators to do is to set some time aside to test the price of certain interactions. Choose a price that you think the interaction is worth and take some time to promote that specific interaction.

If you see little demand for that interaction, then the price may be too high. If you see too much demand for that interaction, then you may be able to raise the price so that you’re making more on each interaction sale. There is an inverse relationship between the price of an interaction and interaction demand.

Creators can also use our convenient “Flexible Pricing” option for interactions that enables supporters to pay more than the minimum amount for an interaction. This way, creators can see the value that supporters are willing to pay for an interaction and use that information to better price their interaction.

Use other creators’ pricing as a starting point

Although different creators will often have different pricing for similar interactions, it doesn’t hurt to check out other creators to get a general sense of how to price your own Jemi interaction. Many Jemi creators share similar digital experiences–one-on-one interactions, personalized video messages, or the selling of a physical product.

Price your interactions based on your schedule

Creator Joon Lee values a 30-minute interaction at around $100

Being able to choose the price you want to offer for an interaction grants you flexibility in using Jemi with your schedule. The saying goes that time is money. If you’re a busy creator, you may value a 30-minute call with a supporter at a much higher price than a creator who has more time for Jemi interactions.

If you’re unsure on your schedule, we recommend starting at a higher price for a Jemi interaction and working that price down slowly each week till you find a price that is manageable with your schedule. It’s important to use your social media or the platform that connects you with your supporters to promote your Jemi interactions so that you can truly gauge the number of interaction requests for your interactions.

The Bottom Line

Pricing of an interaction is something that must be considered on a case-by-case basis. We highly recommend that you use other creators’ pricing as well as your schedule to design your own pricing plan for an interaction. More importantly, however, you should be constantly testing your pricing, offering sales, and gathering information on how your audience reacts to lower prices versus higher prices. It’s important to gauge what works best for you and also what isn’t working.

As always, the Jemi team is here to help you if you have any questions or need help with your interactions. Please feel free to reach out to us at assistant@jemi.app for help!
